Resistors started in Brooklyn in 2012, when guitarist/vocalist Scott Wolff (Pumps, The Rolemodels, Moving Target) realized that he had a bunch of songs and no band, so he went into the studio to make a record on his own. The result was a bit of a throwback to the 1990’s melodic punk scene he grew up in, self-releasing Conditioned (2012) and Breaking Tradition (2013). The band has drawn comparisons to Good Riddance, 88 Fingers Louie, The Loved Ones and Bad Religion, except without all of the success.
